Thanks JRL. For better or worse, I'm just ready for the season to get started so we can play the cards we've been dealt. That's all we can do now. I'm ready to talk real football so we can stop speculating about all this other jazz. It's unfortunate this situation has divided the fanbase as it has, but hey,.....what can we do? The lunatic fringe is creeping in from both sides but we can try to stay grounded in the middle with logic and reason. Born and lived most my life in Atlanta, so I've been a Falcons fan from day 1 of their existence there,
through thick and thin, good years and bad years.
Still am even though I moved to Oklahoma City 4 years ago,
and admittedly not kept up with the team like I used to.
All I have to say about Vick, is Atlanta should have gotten a real quarterback the year they got Michael Vick.
Right now they're sowing the seeds they planted the day he joined the team.
Go Falcons!
I'm still with you no matter what you do this year, as long as it's not with Michael Vick.
I have to draw the line somewhere.

hate is such a strong word! but i HATE to tell you all vick will probably get off with couples months probation, fine thats it! but not sure if he will be back with the falcons, if i was him i would not want to come back ! since so called vans jump ship and conv him already! he will probably go somewhere else win a superbowl and the falcons will suck suck for a long time! then petrino aint out the woods either, if the team suck for a while he will be gone also!

All you need to know about Vick's situation is that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton won't touch it with a ten foot pole. Game, set, match-gone for good. He won't even be able to play in the Arena League when the same media machine that rolled over Don Imus is done spitting him out.

I hate to burst your bubble but Vick is not and never will be a QB with the tools to win a SB.

He is a very gifted athelete with an average arm and apparantly not much between the ears.
