I'm not writing him off yet and like you, I dont think this year will be a very good test for him unless they have REALLY made some changes in that o- line.
And if Harrington couldnt do any better than he did in Detroit with those receivers, then he surely isnt going to light any fires in Atlanta.
It doesnt sound like they are interested in Culpepper.
So like GreyCoat says, they deal with what they have. At this point, that's Joey.
Gee, here on my TV in fantasy land, preseason's already half over!

Yeah, I meant last year. I know it's a different ballgame, but somethings, like his poise, his accuracy, his decision making... that stuff impressed me. That's all I'm saying.

Sometimes they impress me with that stuff too, but then I remember its a whole lot easier to look poised and quick when you're playing against a bunch of guys who probably dont know anymore than you do.

Funny, I see that too. And maybe big brother as a quarterbacks coach, too.

Had to bring this back to life - Schaub is looking pretty good these days

And he gets to go back to Atlanta on Sunday to play against them. This is going to be so interesting.

At least 250 yards for Schuab this week

I despise the dirty birds anyways. I never liked the way that team went with Vick at the helm. Maybe that will all change. But I hope Schaub does at least 250 yards.

Cool Re: Falcons having Schaub regrets?

I think the Falcons regret drafting Vick in the first place, instead of LaDanian Tomlinson.

I agree with that one. That would have been a great move to build a franchise around him. But hindsight is 20/20.

I don't think they even considered Tomlinson - they were focused on either Vick or that guy The Dog Whisperer.

With Hall likely riding the pines Schaub should have a big day - as an Atlanta fan I'm pulling for the Birds but would like to see Schaub torch them a few times.

At the time, not too many teams would have taken Tomlinson over Vick...that's like looking back and saying Ryan Leaf should not have gone that high...I mean who know he was a head case?
