So we have a felon who turned states evidence in an investigation (nothing new there; police are making plea bargains like that all the time with people they consider "small fried" to get to the central figures). If a lawyer can discredit him, so be it. But if people can't jump to conclusions about Vick based on heresay, why can they instantly discredit this guy? You can't have it both ways. |
I believe in fair and balance...thus I end up on the opposite side of a lot of threads...why do I attack the witness?...so I can say, "hey now wait a second gang, lets look at the whole landscape...something doesn't smell right in Denmark"...
Lets look at the statement "small fry"...2,000 fights!...that is a fight a night for 6+ years...that is no small fry...what you might mean, is, the guy is not a "Big Name Celeb" that will give a DA a proper pelt on his wall of fame...But small fry?...really now, do you believe that?
Probably 2,000 dogs died violently at the hands of this animal of a human being and he is a "small fry?"...I am willing to bet that he can rack up 10 times the charges of animal cruelty that Vick can rack up...but is it really about that?...or is it about the big pelt on a DA's wall?...
What?...was Sammy the Bull Gravano any less an Animal then John Gotti?...No...Infact while in the Federal Protection Program...the Bull got busted for running a drug ring in Phoenix...so much for Mr. states evidence...
2,000 fights mean he was around long before Vick I will venture to say...so why is this a big case all of a sudden?...does it sound like they are targeting animal abusers really, or going after a name that surfaced?...
I say the motivation is no different then the Duke case...the outcome might be different...Vick may actually be involved afterall...but you can't tell me that this whole thing passes the smell test...
