Whooa there. You are reallly off on the wrong tangent. IF you check back, you will find a lot of us find Vick to be a very entertaining quarterback. Me included. Or maybe, just maybe, it's because it's because Vick is most likely the pot-smuggling head of a million-dollar, illegal dog-fighting ring who is also easily the most overrated quarterback in the league? Perhaps? Trust me, it's got nothing to do with race. Vince Young in just his second is already a better QB than Mike Vick is, and he certainly seems to have 10x the character as his Falcons counterpart. has a house running a dog fighting compound that witnesses have linked him directly involved with

You really can't compare the Patrick Kerney case with this, either. If what allegedly took place at Kerney's house did in fact happen, it's awful. But Kerney himself wasn't involved, it was his friend who was assaulted and he's cooperating with police. Vick's name was attached to a website for the business and there are witnesses who, if their testimony is accurate, place him at the scene of the crime as an active participant. Not to mention the videos that may or may not exist. The difference? A crime happened at Patrick Kerney's house, while Vick may have funded, knowingly hosted and actively participated in criminal activity. HUGE difference.

owns the website promoting the dogs
owns the company selling the dogs
it costs thousands of dollars to care for the dogs yet the people living on the property are unemployed and on government assistance
witnesses say Vick is in the town of the property regularly
witnesses have seen Vick buying supplies for the dogs
Vick's own friends state that they are convinced he is deeply involved in the dog fighting operation
and now there may be video tapes of Vick at these dog fights
