ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. is apparently reporting that the Atlanta Falcons are looking at trading up in next weekend's NFL Draft. The Falcons apparently have their eyes on WR Calvin Johnson as a target to help out QB Michael Vick. Would this be a good move, in your opinion? I definitely think so. Johnson's the best player in the draft, and his presence certainly wouldn't hurt Vick's chances of someday becoming a top tier quarterback (as unlikely a scenario as that might be).

I wish they would get him an A list receiver soon. All I keep hearing is how great he could be if he had somebody to throw the ball to. You would think after all this time they would have gotten somebody by now. Maybe Johnson is exactly what they need.

They have, several times. When they acquired them, Peerless Price and Ashlie Lelie were big deals. But after a season with the Falcons, they were talentless busts and Vick still needed that top-flight wideout he'd never had. I'm sure if they do draft Johnson, and he struggles, that won't be Vicks fault in any way whatsoever either.

I'm glad they didn't move up - we have far to many holes to fill - so far I like the picks. Nothing flashy just solid football players.
