Falcons sign QB Chris Redman

In need of a quarterback after dealing Matt Schaub to Houston, the Falcons have signed Chris Redman, who played under new Atlanta head coach Bobby Petrino at Louisville. According to the AP, "The 6-foot-2, 223-pound Redman was a third-round draft pick by Baltimore in 2000... In four seasons with the Ravens, Redman played in 10 games and made six starts. He completed 106 of 198 passes for 1,111 yards with seven touchdowns and five interceptions and was 3-3 as a starter." Good pickup for the Falcons?

I have a dozen or so rookie cards of the kid from Louisville...All Louisville QB let me down...at least he is better than the infamous Browning Nagel, who I once mistakely took over some nobody named Brett Favre when I had a choice of cards...

At least the year I was buying Redman's card, I was also getting a bunch of cards of a nobody named Tom Brady...
