Okay, lets here it from the Michael Vick is over-rated crowd today. The guy was passing instead of running and hit on 4 TDs...and passed...yes passed Atlanta to a win over the Steelers...anyone of you want to recant on the over-rated label yet?...anyone?...

Well, yeah, but he was just facing the Steeler defense. Not like they're any good or anything...

Just kidding. Man, I've got to give Vick props. Completion percentage was still a little too low [18-for-30] and he DID throw the two picks, but four TDs is something. And of course, Crumpler's the main guy again, catching six balls for ~120 yards and 3 of those 4 TDs. So I admit Vick had a good game... now what was that you were saying about Vick having no receivers?

Come now...60% is a good completion percentage any where this side of the West Coast offense...Many a Hall of Famer would kill for a 60% rate...

And yeah, Crumpler and the his backs...think of what the man could do with some receivers...

He might not be a Peyton Manning or a Tom Brady, but I just don't see him as being "over-rated"...

i knew this thread was coming, and i knew you would start it

as for Lefty.........dude you flip flop more then a stack of pancakes

Vick had a real good game.........as little as he throws i can be real happy with 60% and even 2 picks isnt a disaster

but..............you must have known there would be a but......im not flipping so easy

string together 3 such games........3 games of 60% passing and over 250 yards and involve a few receivers, then i will say Vick has truly become a SB contending QB

1 game doesnt make you great...........hell even the Raiders won this weekend

And all of a sudden, because Vick has played incredible football these past two weeks, you act like he's been doing it all along. The Michael Vick we saw on the past two Sundays, particularly the guy who went 20-28 with 3 TD passes yesterday, is NOT the same guy who has been playing QB the past couple of seasons for Atlanta. If this is an indication of how he's going to play, then he will indeed shed the overrated tag, but I'm still not convinced that this is more than a fluke.

The kid is not over-rated...He has one TE to throw to...he keeps the Falcons winning either with his arm or legs...and he is labeled over-rated...why?...because he isn't Tom Brady or Peyton Manning?...An over-rated guy doesn't win games for you, especially with a bad supporting cast...and he is the same guy...maybe they jsut stop trying to make him the poster boy for the West Coast Offense.
