How 'bout them Falcons!!!



Matt Ryan threw three touchdown passes in the first half and Chris Houston stopped a Delhomme-led rally at the end, intercepting a pass at the Falcons 4 to preserve Atlanta's 28-20 win over the Panthers on Sunday.

It sin't like we didn't know it would be this way. The Falcons on paper have one of the best offenses in the league. Led by Matt Ryan, it is going to be a good season for Atlanta.

I think our defense has improved this year too, and we needed that. This week will be a test playing up there if Foxboro. I'm not really sure how good the Pats are this year, especially if you get to Brady early in the game, and keep the pressure on him all day long.

Atlanta is looking good this year for sure. I think they are going to pull off the win even if they are playing in Foxboro. Brady still looks rusty and I agree that Atlanta defense does look better. If they can put pressure on Brady like the Jets did and Ryan and the offense does its thing Atlanta should come away with a win

I still think the Pats are going to win though. Last week was a huge wake-up call for New England. I think they just realized Brady was out for a season and now they are really going to concentrate on getting their stuff together. It's very difficult to "out-offense" the Patriots, and you can have the best secondary in the game but if Brady is in his game he will still find open recievers. The best bet at beating Brady is to beat the offensive line and get defenders in the backfield throwing off Bradys rythm. A good defensive line is Brady's weakness, just ask the Giants. Personally, I think the Patriots offensive line is much better than the Falcons D-line. This game will start and end on the line and I see the Patriots winning on both sides.

Well, you were right Full Cougar. Things like that are what I consider the intangibles of a game that can't be put into numbers. Sometimes it's awfully hard to beat a team with that kind of motivation, as the Falcons found out in Foxboro.

Brady very rarely lose 2 in a row. Thats another reason I picked them.
