There is still hope!

What do you think--if the Braves can turn their modest 3 game winning streak into 7 or 8 games in a row they'd be in the thick of it! Kyle Davies will be back soon--he threw 7 innings in a rehab start--and maybe Villareal can be the fifth starter?

Re: There is still hope!

The Braves have the potential of winning plenty of games and qualifying for the NL Wild Card if they continue to play well. It is already sad that the Mets have snapped the Braves' streak of winning the NL EAST Division but that is life.

Re: There is still hope!

A tough loss yesterday. With six games coming up this week against Pittsburgh and Washington, it is time for a six game winning streak--and it may be now or never!

Boy the NL sure is pesky. The Braves are still in it but they need to put together a good win streak to make a run. Who knows, they could sneak in.

Sure, there is always time for a come-from-behind division winner. The NL East is a tough division since they have a handful of Playoff-worthy teams.

These teams in the NL are so bad that I definitely the Braves can come back and be a wild card. I hope you're right about Villareal, I scraped him up in fantasy. He pitches tongiht.

Re: There is still hope!

Villareal had another pretty decent start---too bad the bullpen had a meltdown, Baez and Wickman have been a great combination since the Braves picked them up!

Re: There is still hope!

Bob Wickman and Danny Baez are excellent closers to have on any team-professional or fantasy. Personally, I would rather have Mariano Rivera but they are solid aces to have on the mound in times of need.

I don't think the Braves will capture the NL East Division title this year but next year looks good. I am not a pessimistic type of person, because I am looking forward to the opportunities in the future for the organization and myself.
