MLB.com link says the Braves traded IF Wilson Betemit to the LA Dodgers for RP Danys Baez and UTI Willy Aybar. Baez has not been as dominant as he was with Tampa in previous seasons. If this was the best the Braves could get for Betemit, I guess it's a good deal.

Baez is at the least, another arm for the pen.

I hate it that Braves dealt Betemit, but I guess he was really all the Braves had left who was attractive to other teams. Baez is not the pitcher Linebrook or Proctor is, but with Chipper hurting the Braves had to get somebody back who could play thirdbase. Somebody fill me in on Willy Aybar--good potential? Good fielder, hitter?
