| Atlanta wins 6th straight, tie 1930 Yankees The Atlanta Braves yesterday became the first team to score 10 or more runs in five straight games since the Yankees of Ruth and Gehrig did it back in 1930. Andruw Jones went 5-for-5 with two homers and six RBI in a a 14-5 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals. The Braves have won six in a row and have outscored their opposition 77-32 in the process. Should the Mets be worries that the sub-.500 Braves might be fixin' to make a run at it?
