| Chipper, Hudson injured The Atlanta Braves beat the Florida Marlins 9-4 yesterday. That's the good news. The bad news is that both Chipper Jones and Tim Hudson left the game with injuries. According to the Associated Press, "Jones strained his left hamstring, and Hudson left after six shutout innings with tightness in his right elbow... Jones, the major league’s batting leader at .369, was hurt running out a grounder in the fourth inning and immediately left the game. He said he hopes to avoid the disabled list but may miss the start of a series against division co-leader Philadelphia beginning Friday." Hudson, on the other hand, is unlikely to miss any time. | Re: Chipper, Hudson injured I think everyone has been injured this year, almost at the same time. I bet bobby cox even. I cant win. Why are the baseball gods doing this to us.  |
