For less than $25,000, Atlanta Braves fans can sit 17 feet closer to home plate than the pitcher in his windup. The Braves broke ground on a luxury ``Dugout Club'' at Turner Field that features a 4,000-square-foot lounge, flat- panel television monitors and seats 43 feet behind the plate, the shortest distance in Major League Baseball. The upgrade is part of efforts by the Braves to improve attendance, which is rebounding after a seven-year slump. WTF we have front row seats in section 106 L that will soon become something else ? We were allowed to hand picked these seats when we moved to the new stadium because we have had season tickets since the Braves arrived in Atlanta. Maybe they will give us a break.

This seems crazy as they folks around me always have someone attending the game - how is this going to increase ticket sales? Move or screw loyal 30 plus year fans
