Ken Rosenthal is reporting the Braves are the favorites to land Octavio Dotel from the Royals.

I have to admit, if they can pull this one off and they do get Teixeira (pending physicals)...they can call it a deadline lol.

if we can pull dotel off aswell, I agree..tell ya the truth, I wasnt sure wed pull off the tex trade..

Some outlets are saying the Braves would have to part with starter Kyle Davies to acquire Dotel.

Would Atlanta deal such a young starter?

I like kyle dont get me wrong but hes had a rough year, 4-8 with a 5.76 era, if we can get dotel for him id be pleased..we already are using jo jo reyes and carlyle..

Now it sounds like the Braves are cooling on the Dotel front and instead making a push for Reds starter Bronson Arroyo.

According to Tim Brown of Yahoo! Sports, "The Atlanta Braves are shopping closer Bob Wickman... Any deal would likely be contingent on the club completing a swap with the Kansas City Royals for Octavio Dotel." I for one wouldn't mind seeing Wickman back in Cleveland. Or better yet, Pittsburgh for Salomon Torres!
