Mike Gonzalez surgery

According to Sportsticker reports, "The Atlanta Braves announced on Friday that lefthanded reliever Mike Gonzalez will undergo 'Tommy John' elbow surgery... Gonzalez was acquired in the offseason from the Pittsburgh Pirates for first baseman Adam LaRoche as part of a four-player deal to help sure up a bullpen that blew a league-high 29 saves and had an ERA of 4.39 in 2006." Shame, I like Gonzalez. Hopefully he can recover for next season.

How bad is this going to hurt the Braves' bullpen. I have not payed too much attention to them this year. Didn't they already lose Wickman?

No, Wickman picked up a save on May 24 against the Mets. So apparently he's still good to go.
