| The Tomahawk Chop is far from dead I don't know if I am doing this wrong but I can't post a thread on the National League east. And by the way the only two teams they have are the Mets and the Nationals. The Mets, ok they are in New York, which has great sports fans but what have they done, nada. Who cares about Pedro's toe, he didn't do much last year and I don't think he will this year. And the Nationals? I know they are a team that moved and garnered hype last year when they went into the All Star break with the division lead, but doesn't anyone remember they are the ex Expos. How ludacris would it be to have a forum on the Expos, which the Nationals are just by a different name. The Braves are still the team to beat. Everyone wrote them off for the last few years and they keep winning the division. They were totally written off last year and even with the many injuries they came through and won the divison. Hudson has a so-so year and I expect him to become dominant as he was when he was with the A's. This is his second year in the National League so I believe he will be more experienced. Chipper was injured but still put up decent numbers and had a great second half. They still have the best center fielder in both leagues with Andrew Jones. Cox always has a way to plug in new people, free agents or rookies, and still come out on top. Every year you see a different team win a division and go crazy while the National League east is ho hum the Braves won it again. I know their post seasons have been a disappointment to fans, me included, as I wish they had at least two rings so I can call them a dynasty and shut my friends up but I believe it will happen. Of course I have been saying that for the last few years. Don't count out the Braves to make it to the postseason, again. |
