Ryan Mallett waiver

Arkansas is petitioning the NCAA for a waiver that would allow QB Ryan Mallett, a Michigan transfer, to play immediately. Will they get it?

See, I think they should...I mean, shouldn't the NCAA act in the students/players best interest? Why not let him?

Because then every time after a coach leaves or things get bad, a player will leave to some other school were they can play right away and win. So College Football will just become one big pool of free agents.

I agree. If anything, allow them a one-time waiver if the coach that originally recruited them leave for any reason. But JUST a one-time thing.
