McFadden and Jones Earn More National Honors

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. Arkansas dynamic duo of running backs continue to pick up accolades following their record-setting performance last weekend against No. 23 South Carolina. Juniors Darren McFadden and Felix Jones have been named the Football Bowl Subdivision National Performers of the Week by CollegeSportsReport.com.[/font]

The Razorback duo combined for a new NCAA record of 487 rushing yards by teammates in a single game. McFadden (321) and Jones (166) eclipsed the former record of 476 yards previously held by Kansas’ Tony Sands (396) and Chip Hilleary (80) in a game against Missouri in 1991
