| Harrison could be in Hogs’ lineup for opener Just a little over a week to go, and suddenly it’s Marcus Harrison’s call instead of Reggie Herring’s call whether Harrison plays in Arkansas ’ Sept. 1 season opener against Troy University. Beginning the August preseason as a senior defensive tackle on major knee surgery rehab from last spring, Harrison definitely would not play against Troy, defensive coordinator Herring said back at the Aug. 5 Media Day. At best, Herring said on Aug. 5, Harrison might play by the SEC opener Sept. 15 at Alabama. Harrison and sophomore Malcolm Sheppard traded places last week, as Sheppard moved to D-tackle and Harrison out to D-end.
