FAYETTEVILLE — Greg Childs is becoming a man for the Arkansas football team.
“I think he’s competing every day,” Razorbacks Coach Bobby Petrino said. “He’s really learned how to grow up and be tough.”
Childs, a sophomore receiver from Warren, played in every game last season and made a sudden impact in the opener with 6 catches for 88 yards and 1 touchdown against Western Illinois.
But he struggled with consistency the rest of the season and finished with 18 catches for 273 yards and 2 touchdowns.
