Arizona @ Arizona State Dec 6th

Duel In The Desert

The Sun Devils will come into Tucson next weekend needing one more win to become bowl eligible. Arizona is already bowl eligible with a 6-5 record but has been dissapointing as they lost their last 2 games while ASU has won their last 3. Arizona coach Mike Stoops is in his 4th year at Arizona and has never beaten ASU....rumor has it that if he fails again he may be fired. I will definitely be attending this game...my 4th Arizona game of the year....hope our Cats can get it done this time and officially end the Sun Devils season.

Re: Arizona @ Arizona State Dec 6th

Let the hate begin! For those of you that haven't been in Arizona during the rivalry week, you just don't realize how deep the animosity between these two schools runs. Mike Stoops has improved Arizona in the time that he's been here from the worst BCS conference team in the nation to bowl eligibility. However, he has never beat ASU...and if he fails to do it again this year he will likely lose his job. As always, I'll be going to this game as I have for the last 3 years and a couple of times in the 80s as well. I am an Arizona alumni, this game is the season as far as we're concerned!

Re: Arizona @ Arizona State Dec 6th

Finally, Mike Stoops got his troops together and whooped them Sun Devils 31-10 and is heading to the Las Vegas Bowl 2 weeks from today. What a party this will be for the UofA...we have our hoops team taking on UNLV at noon and our football team taking on BYU at 5pm. The PGU(Point Guard U) party is in a penthouse suite at the Bellagio with limo rides to both games and then back to the Bellagio for the nightcap! I can't wait for this!
