Stanford @ Arizona Oct 20

A few weeks ago this looked like an easy win for Arizona, but Stanford has improved dramatically while Arizona has underachieved all year long. This could end up being an entertaining game, but I see the Arizona defense improving over the last 7 quarters of play. After spotting Oregon State a 24-3 1st quarter lead last week, the Wildcats have only allowed 27 points over the next 7 quarters of play. If they continue this against Stanford they may be able to score enough to win this one at home. With Mike Stoops running things, I will take the wait and see approach.

Arizona is actually a 10 1/2 point favorite in this game. With the way Stanford has improved this year, I'm not sure how the oddsmakers came up with such a big line. I am looking at possibly going to this game, it depends on my health at this point. (I've been sick with the flu for a week)

Glad I didn't go, just watching on TV made me sick all over again. Mike Stoops need to be fired.....now!

Wow, that's ugly. Why in the world is Stoops having so much trouble winning conference games?

Mostly because he's an idiot. He makes bad decisions and his players are undisciplined. On a 4th and 1 play, QB tuitama was supposed to run down the clock and try to draw Stanford offsides, but decided to ignore Stoops and went for it on his own, and didn't make it. If Mike Stoops had the testicles a head coach is supposed to have, Tuitama would have sat the rest of the game, period! He's just not head coach material.

It sounds like that is a bad situation all around. It reminds me of Bama under Mike Shula, the no dicipline part anyway. This kind of situation is frustrating for fans and players.
