Wildcats vs. New Mexico

Tough loss for the Arizona Wildcats this past weekend. According to the Associated Press, "Donovan Porterie threw for 327 yards and three touchdowns Saturday night, and New Mexico beat a Pac-10 team for the second time in school history, 29-27 over mistake-prone Arizona."

It was an ugly turnover and penalty marred outing for the Wildcats. The two teams do have some history, they first played each other more than 100 years ago before either territory ever became a state and were WAC rivals for many years before the Arizona schools joined the Pac 8 making it the Pac 10.
