Washington State is ranked and has won over Arizona already once this year and beat them in Tucson last year. Arizona has lost 5 of their last 7 games and are looking for answers. A loss to Wazzu on thursday night could put this season into a tailspin that could possibly end the school's 22 year(or is it 23?) streak of tourney appearances. It's hard to pinpoint the exact cause for the team's slide but the poor play of Jawann McClellan and Ivan Radenovic has hurt in close losses. The starters play a lot of minutes as Lute is hesitant to go to his bench and as a result they seem burned out and tired. Whatever the reason, the team needs to turn things around quickly or their season could end prematurely in the highly competitive Pac10.

Derrick Lowe is playing as good as anyone in the nation right now. I have to say Wazzu is the far more impressive of the two teams.

What in the heck is going on with Lute Olsen and the Cats?
I really thought they could be a National championship contender.
