Week 7 - Saturday 10/17

I am really looking forward to this game as both teams have a lot to play for here. Hopefully, Fox picks this up and maybe desertrat can give more info on this.

Wildcats are coming off a very disappointing loss where they outplayed the Huskies and lost in the final minutes on a fluke interception. These kinds of losses are not easy to come back from psychologically as a team. This is a very important game for the Wildcats and believe will give the Cardinal their best shot.

Stanford totally got blown out last week by the OSU Beavers which surprised many including myself. I mean the final score was like 38-28 but the score was not even this close. Beavers lead at the half 28-7. A lot of PAC 10 fans thought Stanford may be a huge threat to win the PAC 10 but not so sure now. Cardinal need this game badly too to stay in PAC 10 race. Should be a really good game.

Prediction: This is one tough pick for me as both teams are pretty equally matched. I am going to say that the Wildcats will be still stinging from that tough loss at Washington:

This is Arizona's 1st home game since Sept 12th. There is a lot of heated controversy here in Tucson over the way last week's game at Washington ended on the fluke play interception. Many people are producing video that appears to show the ball did indeed hit the ground and the WRs foot and should have been ruled an incomplete pass. The question is how will Mike Stoops and his team rebound from this? Will it become a distraction that diverts attention away from this weekends game or will they use the anger as motivation and take it out on Stanford? I think Arizona wins big in this one.

Keep in mind that Arizona beat Oregon State in Corvallis.
