What makes me so angry about ASU Sun Devils every year in the PAC 10 is they always choke in tough non-league games. I remember around 3 or 4 years ago they lost a heart breaker at home against LSU, then the next year at LSU they got blown out. They lost a game by 2 touchdowns to Georgia Bull Dogs last year at home. They lose a heartbreaker last week @ Georgia and always the weak link in this conference. Dennis Erickson needs to get with it!

Anyways, the Sun Devils have a pretty good defense this year is what everybody has been saying. It appears so but want to see them play some more games. OSU Beavers should lose this game as they really lack a good QB. There may be a change at QB this week but Mike Riley hasn't indicated this yet. ASU starts Sullivan who has been pretty average up to this point. ASU should win easily here at home with defense alone.

Oregon State 28, Arizona State 17



Oregon State beat Arizona State in Tempe for first time in 16 tries



TEMPE, Ariz. -- Jacquizz Rodgers ran for two touchdowns, Sean Canfield threw for two more scores and Oregon State beat Arizona State 28-17 on Saturday for its first road win over the Sun Devils in 40 years.

James Rodgers and Damola Adeniji each caught a touchdown pass for the Beavers (3-2, 1-1 Pac-10), who had lost 16 straight to the Sun Devils (2-2, 0-1) in Tempe. Oregon State bounced back into contention in the Rose Bowl race after losing its conference opener to Arizona last week.

Oregon State's last win over ASU in Tempe came on Sept. 27, 1969, before the Sun Devils joined the Pac-10. The Beavers have struggled in the desert, but they made themselves at home in Sun Devil Stadium, which was barely half-filled on an 88-degree afternoon.

The Beavers took the crowd out of the game early by jumping out to a 21-3 halftime lead and coasting the rest of the way.
