The Diamondbacks made an offer to Ramon Vasquez late last week and he may be a good answer for the Diamondbacks and 2nd base. He could be a good idea for the Diamondbacks being that he is affordable and put up some decent numbers that seem to encourage the Diamonbacks to sign him. He may not be as good as Orlando Hudson but he may be an OK replacement. The Diamondbacks may also look for a right-handed-hitting second baseman to play against left-handed pitchers. Mark Loretta and Damion Easley could be some possible candidates for that position.

Good Idea? Bad Idea?
