Re: Batista comes close to perfect for Arizona

The Big Hurt actually hurt Batista's perfect game.

But I am sure the 6.66-inning perfect game helped lower his relatively high (4.94) ERA.

All Thomas does anymore is swing for the fences in an attempt to reach the magical 500 home run plateau.

Re: Batista comes close to perfect for Arizona

Considering he currently has 466 career homeruns, it seems possible that he will reach 500 in his career.

Unbelievably, he has 18 homeruns thus far this season which means that he will hit close to 40 if he continues on pace. A 38-year old smashing 40 homeruns? It sounds like a Barry Bonds scenario!
