1. Randy Johnson- Although he spent alot of his career elsewhere, he is widely known as a Diamondback. In his 21 year career, which is still going on, he has 3.26 ERA with 4742 career strikeouts. In his career he has 5 Cy Young awards, 4 of them won while with the Diamondbacks. He also helped lead the Diamondbacks to a WS.

2. Luis Gonzalez- Gonzalez may not have been the best player, but he was an All-star, and he was a good Diamonback. He is still playing today, and has 353 career homeruns. In 2001 he batted .325 with 57 homeruns, along with 142 RBIs, that season ended up with him coming in third for the MVP voting however. He also had the walk-off hit to win the 2001 WS.

3. Brandon Webb- Brandon Webb is currently one of the most dominant pitchers in the MLB. Although he has only played 6 MLB seasons, all of which were with the Diamondbacks, he is looking like a great pitcher. He is an All-star who won the Cy Young in 2006.

As much as I like Webb...you got to rate Curt Schillings back to back 20 win seasons and World Series ring over Webb at this point in time.

I have lived in Arizona for 6 years now and I can tell without a doubt that Luis Gonzalez is the most popular player in DBacks history. He hasn't played here for the last 2 years but he still is in numerous commercials here in Arizona and will always be remembered as the hero that had the game winning hit in the bottom of the 9th to win the World Series over the Yankees!
