It wasn't Webb's best outing (6.0 IP, 5 hits, 4 runs, 2 BB, 3 Ks, 1 HR) but nonetheless, he's the first 7 game winner in the majors in 2008. According to the Associated Press, "Webb (9-0) has won his first nine starts, the most since San Diego’s Andy Hawkins won his first 10 in 1985, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
