| Re: Is Randy Johnson the best pitcher of this era? Hard to argue against Maddux who was my favorite pitcher of the 90's...I guess it comes down to what do you like best...a pitcher with great control that can work the corners and the count...or a power pitcher... |

| Re: Is Randy Johnson the best pitcher of this era? "The professor"...that's why I always liked him...I always thought good pitching was more mental then anything...and Maddux could expand that strike zone with every inning... |

| Re: Is Randy Johnson the best pitcher of this era? Another Greg Maddux vote here. He helped dominate the Phillies division for too many years for me not to vote for him. Smart, classy, and professional. He just got the job done! |

| Re: Is Randy Johnson the best pitcher of this era? I am a big Maddux fan. I watched him for years on TBS with the Braves, but there was jsut something about Clemens' ability. I saw him get roughed up in an inning once and he loaded the bases. You could tell by his look that he was going to get out of it. The next 3 players had no chance. He struck out 2 and got another to pop out. He was an amazing pitcher for just a power thrower.
