Earlier in the week, Arizona dealt one of their (many) top prospects, 1B Carlos Quentin to the Chicago White Sox for 1B Chris Carter.

Carter was rated by Baseball America as one of the Top 10 players in the White Sox system. He played in low-Single A last year so he won't be in the bigs anytime soon. But look for his power to develop over time.

Looks like the DBacks dealt from a surplus to acquire a solid prospect.

I would have kept Carlos... Ithink his up side his higher than Carter and for gosh sake its 1B for 1B...what the heck is that?
