Diamondbacks first half review

For much of the first half, the Arizona Diamondbacks were right in the mix in the NL West division race. But they finished the first half losing 8 of their last 10 to fall to 47-43, good for third place, 3.5 games behind San Diego. So is this just a losing streak, or is Arizona starting to fade?

Re: Diamondbacks first half review

The DBacks are a young team all across the board. They are very deep in the OF, not so deep in the bullpen. I'm thinking they will start to fade without some more bullpen help, they may as well put Eric Byrnes on the trading block and maybe one other OF from their deep stable and try to bring in a set up man and a middle relief guy. This team has a very bright future if they keep their core together and lock them up with long term contracts.
