What's the story on this kid Mark Reynolds? The Arizona Diamondbacks rookie third-baseman was playing in Double-A ball 10 days ago, from what I was reading, and ever since his call-up he's been lighting it up. According to the AP, Reynolds "homered twice and went 5-for-5 with four RBIs to help the Diamondbacks beat Houston 13-3 Friday night, handing the Astros their sixth straight loss... Reynolds is batting .459 (17-for-37) with eight extra-base hits and 11 RBIs in his first 10 big league games." So is this kid the real deal or what?
