Arizona TE Ben Patrick has been suspended 4 games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. He tested positive for Adderall, an amphetamine.
His agent says he took one pill, one time. He got the pill from a friend and used it to keep himself awake on the drive from Flagstaff during the team's bye week in October.
His agent said it was "an honest mistake" and he's really remorseful.
Patrick can return for team's Oct. 18 game at Seattle.

because it's like a prescription version of speed but if you don't have a prescription in your name for it you get in trouble.

I know honcho, FC said he didnt believe Patrick's story about why he took it. I asked why else would he take it. He was using it to stay awake.
Adderall is the latest drug in schools here. Kids steal it from their siblings and sell it. The schools and parents are cracking down on it.
