Fitzgerald to redeal to keep Boldin?

At a time when many league observers believe it’s only a matter of time before the Arizona Cardinals trade receiver Anquan Boldin to a team that will pay him something in the range of $9 million per year, the teammate whose contract resulted in the placement of a financial stick in Boldin’s butt reportedly is willing to help keep Anquan around.
Per Adam Schefter of NFL Network, receiver Larry Fitzgerald is willing to restructure his four-year, $40 million deal in order to free up extra money that can then be paid to Boldin.
But while Fitzgerald is reportedly willing, there might not be many options. As the NFL embarks on the last capped year of the current labor agreement, the old tricks like guaranteeing a huge chunk of current-year salary and spreading the cap hit over time won’t apply. Thus, short of a reduction in dollars due and payable to Fitzgerald in 2009, with no guarantee that he’ll make up the difference in 2010 or beyond, Fitzgerald can’t really help to solve the problem.
Boldin has wanted an adjustment to his deal ever since Fitzgerald signed his deal worth $10 million annually last March. But the team hasn’t budged, and Boldin has vowed to leave when his current contract expires after the 2010 season.
From the team’s perspective, it might make more sense to move Boldin now, and get a first-round pick or more in exchange for him. If Roy Williams is worth a one, a three, and a five, Boldin could get at least that much.

I wonder how far Fitz is willing to go to keep Boldin?
Does Arizona need Boldin?

I love Boldin in a Cardinals uniform, he is one of the toughest WRs in the NFL, a very hard worker. However, if he's unhappy here then the best option would be to trade him for extra picks...there are some great WRs coming out...Michael Crabtree immediately comes to mind.

If they offer Boldin for one of those top picks, maybe. He's not the only solid WR out there, just the first one that comes to mind. I would love to have Jeremy Maclin too. The speed of Percy Harvin could always be put to use as well!

I hope that there really is something with there with that Boldin and Todd Haley thing, I hope they really do hate each other, and Boldin will refuse to say if Haley, so assuming that Haley doesnt leave for KC that would make Haley open for my Bears see, and the Bears need him

Trade him to the Giants for Plaxico Burress . I'm sure Boldin would like that and what other choice does Plax have with his problems ... Also the Gaints would have to pay a little extra cash for the deal but I am sure both teams would be happy . Yes or No?

That is if things work out with Plax first.
