Re: Super Bowl:Cardinals-Steelers!

Right right. I remember that now. That was clearly uncalled for, however wasn't the only stupid move I saw that game.

Re: Super Bowl:Cardinals-Steelers!

No one is considering Big Ben for MVP for keeping plays alive and taking his team downfield on the last td drive??????

I don't disagree it wasn't cool but he didn't injury the guy and I am not saying that it should get to that point . It was one bad play and again being in the superbowl I believe his emotion got to him .

Ben had a good game but I don't think it was one of his best performance . If he would of gotten it I would of been cool with that to . It just I feel MVP should go to who had the most impact.

Not true, they did beat the Dolphins 31-10. Then they beat 3 more playoff teams in the playoffs.....proof positive that they belonged there! They actually outplayed the Steelers and really only blew it on one key play at the end of the 1st half.

Wow, even with the numbers in front of you!

Well, you're loyal, I'll give you that.

We'll just ignore them getting thier asses kicked by even the Pats, that didn't make the playoffs, and the Eagles, both by healthy margins.

And quote my whole post, not just the part you select, so folks can see where I say that I like your damn team.

I'm done with this. I came here to talk to folks that can look at things honestly, not pick and choose the facts they want to present.

Re: Super Bowl:Cardinals-Steelers!

haha Phils how can you say they got their asses kicked "even by the Pats?"

You are right that they didn't make the playoffs, but come on man... they were 11-5. They basically got robbed and this is coming from an Eagle fan. I don't like New England but look:

There were 2 NFC teams with 9 wins in the playoffs; whereas in the AFC you had an 11 win team sitting at home watching.

Look at the difference between conference records this past season and there is a huge discrepancy... I don't like NE, but you have to give respect where respect is due.

I think NE is great, no denying that.

I didn't intend my post as disrepsent to the Pats, but I guess I does look that way.

My point was more that the Cards limped thier way in, not to diss the Pats.

It was a good catch but to be honest I don't care which player got it , I'm more glad in how the team did all year . Holmes had a good season to.

Exactly. Who would you give an end of the season MVP award to on the Steelers?

Re: Super Bowl:Cardinals-Steelers!

Like I said I would still give it to this guy as to what he did all season and this play.

Harrison's 100-yard interception return for TD paid dividends for Steelers

You would give Harrison an award for Steeler of the Year? I'm not sure who I would give it to. Maybe if I could give it to the whole defense, but you could be right in giving it to Harrison. I don't think Ben would deserve it though.
