Boldin bolts out back door

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- The Arizona Cardinals used only one receiver on nine of their final 14 plays in the NFC Championship Game.

Boldin

Anquan Boldin was not that receiver.
Initial evidence suggests Boldin wasn't too happy with the situation.
As teammates streamed into the Cardinals' locker room after the 32-25 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, Boldin was seen leaving out the back door.
The two-time Pro Bowler was asked if an NFC championship helped alleviate any ill feelings he had toward the team.
"That's not an issue," Boldin said, according to the San Francisco Chronicle. "Like I told you guys at the beginning of the season, my main goal was to do this. I've come through with all of my promises. I fought. I gave my heart to this organization. It's paying off."
Late in the game, cameras showed Boldin arguing with offensive coordinator Todd Haley on the sideline. Once the game ended, Boldin left the field quickly without celebrating.

I don't know what was goin on. It sure looked like he was throwin a TO fit on the sideline. It also looked like the coach asked him if he wanted to go back in at all.

Good receivers keep their mouths shut and catch the ball when it comes to them, not drop it left and right then complain when they don't get it when they want it

Yep, and if you cant make them say what you want to say, then you are real good at ignoring them.

Re: Boldin bolts out back door

Boldin probably did just enough damage to his image yesterday that it pretty much wipes out most of the good. There is never any question that Anquan Boldin gives everything he's got on every play, but the last thing you want as you go looking for a big pay raise with another team is a reputation for not being a "team player". He needs to show a little more class, go celebrate with your teammates!

He wants out of there as badly as Peppers wants out of Carolina.
Espn sports say that the coaches felt his hamstring was hampering him and he said it wasnt.
It is also unlikely he will get out of Arizona because he is supposed to be signed until 2010 I think, at a good price.
I dont know. He handled that hit on him with courage and strength. I will forgive the anger and frustration he showed. It didnt really hurt his rep in my book yet.

Hard to imagine this won't hurt his relationship with his teammates. The team makes their very 1st Super Bowl ever and Boldin storms off the field rather celebrate with his teammates? As great a player as Boldin has been for the Cardinals, if that's how he feels then get him out of here!

I didnt say it wouldnt hurt it with his teammates. I'd say his rep with them has been going downhill for a bit. And most definitely it has with the Cards fans. I just see him as acting human.
