Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin has asked the Arizona Cardinals to trade him.

According to what Boldin told the Associated Press yesterday, "If I’m not going to be treated fairly, if my hard work and loyalty isn’t going to be rewarded here, then let me go somewhere where it’s going to be rewarded. That’s how I feel." I also hear that he isn't speaking with coach Ken Whisenhunt, and has vowed never to sign another contract with the Cardinals. It's getting messy. So what happens now?

Agreed, Im starting to get annoyed with all these players asking to be traded. It gets unfair for the franchise. They have to trade the disgruntled player so it dosen't mess with the teams success. However they never seem to get the proper value for who they trade. Like Bette said, he should just play the year and try his best. I didn't know he is free next year that makes it even more unnecessary. Atleast with Chad Johnson he is in contract for quite sometime I believe.

Boldin is not a deep threat at all. Boldin is a physical receiver that gets big YAC on short routes. The best place for Boldin is in Arizona. He thrives with teams double covering Fitzgerald on the opposite side. It would be nice to see him in Niner Red and Gold, but we just got crabtree and are pretty stacked at WR...

Bolding and Fitzgerald seperated, too good receivers. When together, their stats can nearly double. They are the perfect combination of long ball receiver and like you said, physical short route reciever. The Cards had a passing game last year that you don't see to often. One that was fun to watch and hard to stop. If they had a consitent guy to run the ball for them the whole year, maybe they would have won the Super Bowl.
