So the author of this short article predicts that the Cardinals will be the most improved team in the NFL, mostly because of their talented WR corps and the addition of Edgerrin James. So are they, in fact, the most improved team in the league entering the 2006 season? Certainly the Browns have to be added into the mix, as well as the Saints. Who else?

On paper they appear to be...but they still have to come together on the field...they need the coaching and the chemistry...they need to ease Matt into the offense etc...so it really remains to be seen...but yeah, on paper, they are most improved.

I think they're much improved but I always think that about the Cardinals and then it's always the same old story.

The author of the above article also seems to be a little skeptical about the 2006 Arizona Cardinals. "We always hear about this being the Cardinals year to break out," he says. "It hasn’t happened yet, and while I see improvement in the squad, having Kurt Warner stay healthy for an entire year is not something I’m willing to bet on... The Cardinals are headed in the right direction. However, they’re a year or two away." I assume he means playoff contender status. Do you agree?

The question is...

How much will Leinart play in his first season? He does have someone good to learn under in Kurt Warner.

Unless Warner gets hurt or struggles mightily, I don't see Leinart playing much if at all in 2006.

The fact that the Cards open a brand new stadium also may play in their favor. For the first time since moving to the desert they have sold out all their season tickets. Also for the first time since moving here they will not open the season with 2 road games as they have in every other season since their arrival. The importance of getting off to a good start cannot be overlooked, and is never easy when you play on the road twice before getting a homa game. The new stadium has allowed the Cards to open at home and the hype and excitement could very well lead into something special for the long suffering fans of Arizona.

Would you put your #1 draft pick behind that O-line??? And their D is pretty bad as well. Improved yes but most? No, id give that to the Dolphins and im liking the Vikings a lot as well. Chester Taylor was a great sign.
