TEMPE, Ariz. -- Defensive end Travis LaBoy has signed a five-year contract with the Arizona Cardinals, the team said Tuesday.

LaBoy's deal reportedly is worth $22 million, with $7.5 million guaranteed.

The 6-foot-3, 260-pound LaBoy played four seasons with Tennessee after being drafted in the second round by the Titans -- the 42nd pick overall -- out of Hawaii in 2004. He is expected to compete with Bertrand Berry for the starting job.

In a reserve role last season, he played in 13 games with six sacks, 20 tackles, four forced fumbles, one interception and one fumble recovery. Overall, LaBoy appeared in 54 games with Tennessee, 20 as a starter. He had 19.5 sacks, 175 tackles (100 solo), five forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries and one interception. He had a career high 6.5 sacks in 2005.
