Bear with me, there is a point to this.

"The revolving door that appears to be the Paris Hilton's Hollywood Hills home was the sight of the number one draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals QB Matt Leinart quick exit on Wednesday morning," claims this obviously classy, well-respected news publication. "The pair were reportedly partying together the night before in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.Com."

Okay, why bring this up? Because Matt Leinart the socialite really has me starting to wonder about Matt Leinart the football player. In the old days, NFL guys used to go out partying all the time. But I'm not sure that would fly today, and I'm really starting to wonder where the Cards QB's head's at. I mean, with all the partying and the spending the night with Paris Hilton, part of me wonders if he's even taken so much as a glance at his playbook.

What do you guys think about all of this... stuff?

I am not worried at all. Matt has played well for USC and I am sure he will play well for the Cardinals as well. I would be more concerned if he was hanging out with Dennis Rodman to be perfectly honest.

Exactly!...hate to see Matt go their way...I rather read the kid has his head in the gam than "he's hooking up with Paris Hilton"...

On a side note, I bought a pack of Press Pass Football Cards and it had both a Matt Leinart insert and a Vince Young insert...to top it off it also had a LenDale White and Drew Olsen (UCLA QB) card...nice pack...

I don't think it matters. As Archie Bunker would say - He has "surges" that he has to fulfill....If I was that famous, I would certainly be taking advantage...There was another playboy who was a pretty good QB named Joe Willie Namath.

Like I said, though, there were a lot of them back in the day who could go out drinking, partying and carousing the night before and play with hangovers and whatnot the next day. But sports have changed a lot since then. You don't honestly think some of those guys could've lived that kind of lifestyle and still been successful in today's NFL, do you?

Different breed I think...and in the case of today's player...they are paid too much, get a swelled head, and the starlets do not help get them bakc into the game...Cade for one nevergot it going...

Matt seemed more stable...so i question the whole Paris thing...a playbook should be is constant companion right now...

Paris Hilton is the walking, breathing of everything thats wrong with America. A skinny, self centered airhead whos 15 minutes of fame are drawing to a close. If Matt Leinhart choses to date/have one night stand, etc. then he needs to be cut from the Cards. Im serious. If Matt Leinhart is gonna represent his already beleagured team off the field by dating a bleach blond coke head then hes not what the Cards need. I think it would be better to find out that Linehart was a member of the Manson Family then dating Paris Hilton! At least then hed have a cause granted a twisted one! But Paris Hilton??? What if Paris decides Matt should be out kissing her skinny rear end (like everyone else does) instead of attending practices? Dont think this cant happen cuz Linehart is a boy and could easily get caught up in Paris' bright lights, money and fame! As for Carmen Electra, I met her at an autograph signing and she is HOT and more than that...she was nice so dont compare her to a waste of protoplasm like Paris. Rodman? Well hes a freak who can argue that but the guy could rebound. What does Paris do well? What? What? What? NOTHING!!!

Its that damn cold I got I tell ya Bat-fan! Who gets a cold in the middle of May??!!?? Is Carmen Electra silly? Yes she is but she is also very nice to her fans...I can attest to that personally. Shes very short too! Rodman? He has 6 NBA Championship rings and not for nothing, you cant take that from the wacko. Paris is...well I dont want to have to go through it again. Just read my post as for Paris' uselessness. If thats who Leinhart chooses to associate with then the Jets made a brilliant move by passing him up and taking "The Brick Wall." If I were Leinhart id do some consulting with players with class in the organization to tell him that associating with Paris Hilton is the career equvialent of taking up the work the Jeffery Dahmer didnt get to finish. Neil Lomax in some behind the scenes position for the Cards? He had class and maybe could talk some sense into Paris' boyfriend...before SHE starts talking to him!

I really thought Matt had a bit more class though...read an ESPN article on him, and he was dating another college...Matt, buddy, pal, you don't need the Hilton chick...you got thousands of better options out there...
