Ladies and gentlemen, hell has officially frozen over. The Arizona Cardinals have sold out their season tickets. Never thought I'd live to see the day, and it's all due to the power of Leinart and James...

Don't forget about their new stadium opening up. Unlike their previous one, it's one of those retractable ones so the fans won't have to lose 20 pounds through the game due to sweat.

But the way I've seen it diagramed, the field moves underground or something like that. Very high-tech!

That is going to put pressure on them to get Matt Leinart into the games...but is he ready for that?...I rather see an Eli Manning approach to it...

Dennis Green won't succumb to the pressure. Warner's the started and I'd be surprised to see that change at all this season. He knows, and hopefully the fans know, that they're still a year or two away and playing Leinart now does no good whatsoever.

The roof does move,but the field rolls outside also. It is a lot cheaper and it saves the grass for when the stadium is used for other purposes. The plan is to roll the field outside during the week to grow in the sun, then roll it inside for games. While it is outside, they can have monster truck pulls and conventions etc. without damaging the playing field. Here is a link if you want to read more.

Which is a great idea, as long as none of the equipment required to move the field in and out breaks. But then, I'm sure they have contingencies for that as well, right? It looks to be a very high-tech field and I'm sure the fans in Arizona are going to love it.

It will beat sitting in the sun on a 105 degree september afternoon on those metal seats in Tempe. Add to that all the star power the offense now has and this season could be the first time Cards fans here have ever had a reason to be excited.
