Cool Same old Cardinals

This is why you can't take the Cardinals seriously. At home, the allow a 44 year old man to come in cold off the street and beat them by 15 pts.

And I don't want to hear that Warner was hurt. Rattay is very servicable backup.

Re: Same old Cardinals

It's a shame too because they have some nice players on both sides of the ball but they just can't put it together.

Yep. Vinnie's older that Rattay and was in the same boat. That was a bad loss for Arizona.

Ha ha! only in the NFL. I cant believe some of these games sometimes. Everyone had Vinnie being pushed around by his rb's in a wheelchair.
It might not be the Cardinals so much as just the craziness of the game. I cant believe they are THAT bad.

Re: Same old Cardinals

Believe it. It is a testament ot the lack of skilled quarterbacks in the NFL today that Testaverde could come in and even play, never mind win the game.

Very true, very true. Maybe it wouldn't be the case if proven winners like Tee Martin, Shaun King and Chris Leak got fair shakes in the pros, though.

Rattay was only signed last week. If you know anything at all about football then you have to know there is no way he was ready to step in and play a full game(Warner went out in the games opening series). The Cardinals have lost their top 2 QBs now, it would appear that the team will have the same old results as past seasons in spite of the fact that overall they are a much improved team. Tim Hasselbeck has now been signed to back up Rattay. These are desperate times for the QB position on the Arizona Cardinals. I half expected them to ask Jake Plummer to return.

Cool Re: Same old Cardinals

And now they'll probably go in and beat the Redskins....As Bette says: That's the NFL!

Re: Same old Cardinals

Even with Warner healthy I would expect the Redskins to win this at home. Joe Gibbs has done a good job of restoring the old attitude of the Redskins teams he had in the 90s. When do the Cowboys go to Washington? That's one I want to see!

November 18 and Dec. 30 ......which gives them plenty of time to get really good. I see Washington as improving as the season goes on.
