Its from a reprint of an older column, but the issue is still valid.

"The Arizona Cardinals should retire Tillman's No. 40 right now — clearly no one can ever fill his shoes," writes the author. "They should paint the 40-yard lines red, white, and blue. They should name their new venue Pat Tillman Field at (Fill-in-the-blank) Stadium."

What do you guys think? Should the Cardinals retire Tillman's number?

Yep...the word "hero" is so miss used in sports...here is a guy who really lived up to it...Its also one of the things I loved about Ted Williams...the man would have posted close to 700 homers had he not lost years to two wars...
