| Re: Cardinals Unveil $450 Million Stadium Cardinals VP Michael Bidwill is calling it "the most technologically advanced sports facility ever been built." It will have a roof that is retractable and see-through, meaning that even when closed the sun will be a factor. The natural grass field slides in and out like an oven rack, so it can be put in for gameday and taken back out if a concert or a convention is being held in the arena.
And not only does this fancy new stadium allow the Cards to open at home for the first time in ages, it will also be the home of next season's NCAA National Championship game and the 2008 Super Bowl. Between this and the signing of Edgerrin James, it looks like Arizona football fans finally have something to look forward to again! |
