| Re: Cardinals vs 49ers Call me crazy, but I'm excited. In 2-3 seasons, this is going to be a match-up of NFL powers, featuring two of the most explosive offenses in the game. This will be like a preview, a glimpse into the future of the league. San Fran's closer to where they need to be, so they'll win it, but I think the Cards will keep it close. Whisenhunt just doesn't have all the pieces he needs yet.

| Re: Cardinals vs 49ers Tough way to open the season for the Cards and their new coach - a 20-17 loss. According to the Associated Press, "Arizona's defense finally bent at the end, handing new coach Ken Whisenhunt a typically crushing Cardinals loss in his debut. He's the ninth straight coach to lose his first game with the Cards... A look at the stat sheet will hurt: Arizona held the 49ers to 194 total yards, just 30 in the second half -- until that final drive." | Re: Cardinals vs 49ers All they guy in the end zone had to do was bat the ball out of bounds and it would have been Arizona's ball, but he tried to pick it up rather than fall on it. This cost them the game. |
