Week One brings us the Cardinals vs the 49ers

both of these teams should be improved .... Matt may be the better QB and Edge may be the better RB, but i just dont think the Cards have completely reached that next level yet

The 49ers are thought to be scary this year, that said, I think the cardinals win this one but not by much maybe a field goal or td..

Call me crazy, but I'm excited. In 2-3 seasons, this is going to be a match-up of NFL powers, featuring two of the most explosive offenses in the game. This will be like a preview, a glimpse into the future of the league. San Fran's closer to where they need to be, so they'll win it, but I think the Cards will keep it close. Whisenhunt just doesn't have all the pieces he needs yet.

According to the Associated Press, "Arizona's defense finally bent at the end, handing new coach Ken Whisenhunt a typically crushing Cardinals loss in his debut. He's the ninth straight coach to lose his first game with the Cards... A look at the stat sheet will hurt: Arizona held the 49ers to 194 total yards, just 30 in the second half -- until that final drive."

Same old Cardinals...They'll find a way to lose.

All they guy in the end zone had to do was bat the ball out of bounds and it would have been Arizona's ball, but he tried to pick it up rather than fall on it. This cost them the game.
