| Cardinals running game I've been anxious to see whether or not Ken Whisenhunt would be able to improve the Arizona Cardinals running game. In their first preseason game, Edgerrin James played for just two series as the Cards ran for 103 yards as a team. Not great, but the 4.3 yards per carry average is somewhat more impressive. Too early to call it either way, but to me, it seems like a promising start. What do you think?

| Re: Cardinals running game The Cardinals OL will be improved this year, the offense will be dangerous as it has been for the last few years. With a QB like Matt Leinart now in the system for summer camp and possibly the best WR tandem in football with Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin, opposing defenses will have to try and stop the pass. This can help the running game, knowing they have to stop the pass a defense can't load up to stop the run. Wisenhunt has to be an improvement over Dennis Green, I'm not going to express my true opinions of Green here but I'll say they aren't good and leave it at that. The running game only needs to not be predictable in order to be succesful, Green may as well have announced his plays over the loudspeakers.
