Lawyers sue Cardinals over dispute on seating

Members of a Phoenix law firm said they put up with bad seats and an often-lousy football team for years in hopes of a payoff when the Arizona Cardinals finally got a new facility.

But what they say they got instead in the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale were seats inferior to what they had in Sun Devil Stadium and obstructed views.

The lawyers at Cheifetz Iannitelli Marcolini PC did more than complain. They have filed suit demanding unspecified financial reparations from the team.

Cardinals spokesman Mark Dalton acknowledged that the seats the firm got are nowhere near as close to the 50-yard line as the ones at Sun Devil Stadium. But he said there are reasons for that, and that the lawyers were not cheated in any way.

Essentially, the lawyer is arguing that because his seats were made significantly worse in the move over to the new stadium, it's going to hurt his business because he would use the tickets to impress prospective clients. So what do you guys all think about this mess?
