Cardinals to Interview Sherman Again
Forbes, NY - 11 hours ago
The Arizona Cardinals are bringing Mike Sherman back for a second interview for their coaching vacancy on Thursday.

At least two others are expected to have second sessions, but their names were not revealed when the team announced Wednesday it would meet again with Sherman.

The Cardinals are believed to be waiting to see what happens in Pittsburgh, where Steelers assistants Ken Whisenhunt and Russ Grimm are leading candidates to replace Bill Cowher.

Whisenhunt, the Steelers' offensive coordinator, and Grimm, assistant head coach-offensive line coach, are among the eight candidates who interviewed for the Arizona job, and either or both could be among the Arizona finalists.

Re: Cardinals coaching search

ESPN is reporting that Whisenhunt has also been called back for a second interview. Will it be him or Sherman?

Re: Cardinals coaching search

Or perhaps Cam Cameron, who the Cards have expressed interest in as well. Of course, they can't talk to the San Diego offensive coordinator until the Chargers are eliminated from the playoffs. Arizona reportedly wants to have a guy in place this week, so if the Chargers win today, I guess you can pretty much cross his name off the list.
